Initiatives Initiatives to Support Learning

To support the full social participation of the visually handicapped and enable them to realize their dreams, we continuously work in order to
provide them a convenient learning environment. We provide supports by publishing a various braille version of books and data necessary for
learning, vocational activities, self-development, hobbies and the like and support learning of languages such as English or Japanese through
initiatives including ¡°publishing braille version of periodicals¡±, ¡°English classes via telephone¡±, ¡°Japanese classes via telephone¡±,
¡°Japanese language club¡± and the like. For visually handicapped musicians, we produce ¡°braille version of musical notation¡±, and for visually
handicapped students in middle school, high school and university, we manage a ¡°learning materials support program¡± to provide textbooks. In
addition to these, we provide assistance for their learning and job finding especially with vocational activities of ¡°production of electronic books¡±
and ¡°mailing services¡±.
